Why a pen name?
The editor prefers to keep the site apart from their private life. Using one consistent name shows that the same person stands behind every page and answers for it. We would rather say that plainly than invent a biography.
What does Nell do?
Nell chooses the topics, reads the trials and reviews behind each page, writes and edits the guides, sets the evidence grades and handles corrections. Nell has no financial link with any company that makes or sells magnesium supplements.
Is Nell qualified to give medical advice?
No. Nothing on this site is personal medical advice. That is why every claim links to its source and why we are recruiting a qualified reviewer. Research and drafting use AI tools, and every number is checked against the original paper before publication.
